I unfortunately have a very close friend of mine get diagnosed with cancer(leukaemia). It shocks me to my core the amount of new cancer cases showing up daily. When a very close friend of mine got diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of 21 I was in shock and in disbelief due him being so young and fit. The cancer council helped out so much with his recovery this why I chose to give back to the cancer council. They put so much effort into doing the best for all their cancer patients, the do such an amazing job. My friend ended up surviving leukaemia and is going strong but I feel as though it would of been a lot harder situation for him to go through if he didn’t have the cancer council involved and by his side.
